Wool Azilal Cushion Cover - Fuchsia Pathways

The Fuchsia Pathways cushion cover is woven in the traditional Azilal style. Cream wool pile contrasts with spontaneous, free-form line patterns in black and fuchsia. This artisan cushion cover will lend artist flair to a minimalist interior.  

Our cushions are hand-dyed and woven by Moroccan artisans in the Atlas Mountains. In Azilal tribal tradition these weavings formed rugs hidden in the home, away from guests, which freed the weaver from constraints. This allowed them to create spontaneous designs documenting their lives, culture and environment during a time when they had no written language to preserve their stories.
